Princeton Analytical Labs (PAL) is a Pennsylvania Department of Environmental testing laboratory (PA-DEP Certified Laboratory ID# 35-04831) that was certified in 2012 with the intention of having a laboratory that could address water quality in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. It was around that same time that drilling for natural gas was becoming more prevalent in the area. The public was asking many questions about the potential contamination to drinking water, primarily private and community wells.
Laboratory water analysis can become every complex. There are many water testing parameters that can be evaluated to determine the potability of water samples. Choosing the best parameters to test for your water is a decision based both on necessity and economics. PAL will give each client specific recommendations and guidance based on their concerns.
PAL also understands that most people do not have experience interpreting environmental laboratory reports. An unexplained laboratory report can sometimes cause clients unnecessary and undue concern. Most environmental laboratory reports do not include interpretations or results explained in the proper context of the sample testing panel. With that in mind, the focus of the PAL is to provide not only reliable testing by a PA-DEP certified laboratory, but PAL will also be supporting the results by educating and explaining the laboratory results directly to the client. Since 2012, PAL has steadily grown it base and testing profiles, primarily through the laboratory’s reputation of being the laboratory that will speak with clients and answer questions directly. The experienced laboratory staff regularly connects with clients to answer any questions after results have been reported.
The PAL website has answers to many basic questions about water quality and testing. PAL is continually looking to add relevant and useful information to its website using blogs related to water quality and via social media. Providing understandable information related to laboratory testing of water quality to help individuals answer questions is an important focus of PAL.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more and contact the laboratory with questions. PAL will do its best to answer any questions to help you make sure that your water is clean and safe.
