Michael Coyer, ph.d., dabftLab Director
In his role as Lab Director for Princeton Analytical, Dr. Coyer is building upon his successful 20-year track record in the analytical services industry including owning and operating multiple environmental and forensic laboratories. At Princeton Analytical, Dr. Coyer is responsible for operational leadership, regulatory and compliance standards and long-range strategic planning.
Dr. Coyer also serves as Laboratory Research Director for Northern Tier Research, a forensic laboratory providing toxicological analyses and research lab testing, education, and training. As Technical Consulting Director for United Chemical Technologies, Inc., he develops new methods to execute traditional lab techniques more time efficiently and cost effectively. He has a 17-year affiliation with PPL's Susquehanna Nuclear Power Plant in Berwick, PA, serving as Laboratory Director with responsibility for all forensic drug testing. Dr. Coyer has been qualified to testify as an expert in courts throughout Pennsylvania.
Dr. Coyer received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Scranton and earned his Ph.D. in Inorganic/Physical Chemistry from Rutgers - The State University of New Jersey. He is a member of the Society of Forensic Toxicology (SOFT) and certified as a Diplomate of the Board by The American Board of Forensic Toxicology (ABFT).
Patrick J. Brier, ESQ.
Attorney Brier joins Princeton Analytical as General Counsel and Chief Marketing Officer after more than 25 years in private law practice. At Princeton Analytical, Pat is responsible for new business development, expanding existing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities. As Counsel at Myers, Brier & Kelly, LLP, he focuses on health care and providing non-partisan government relations advice. Pat was previously at the law firm of Stevens & Lee.
Attorney Brier received his B.A. from Marywood University and J.D. from Catholic University of America. Attorney Brier is a member of the Lackawanna Bar Association.
Mr. Yevich is responsible for all day-to-day quality control procedures for Princeton Analytical. Over his 20-year industry career, Mike has acted as laboratory supervisor and quality control officer for a local environmental laboratory and as an R & D chemist in the fluoropolymer industry, where he also had roles as the Safety Chairperson and ISO 14001 internal auditor. Born in Scranton and a product of Scranton Public Schools, Mike received his Chemistry degree from the University of Scranton. Mike also serves his alma mater as adjunct faculty.
DREW KEARNEY, ESQ.
In his role as Compliance Officer for Princeton Analytical, Attorney Kearney has primary responsibility for legal research and monitors federal, state and local legislation for changes impacting Princeton Analytical. Drew assists with business development, and sales and marketing strategies, including internet and direct-mail marketing.
Drew received his B.A. from The University of Scranton and his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Drew is a member of the Lackawanna County Bar Association.
